At the USA launch Kill the Devil: A Love Story from Rwanda, author Tony Macaulay will be joined by Christophe Mbonyingabo CEO of CARSA, a reconciliation charity in Rwanda. Shining a light on the remarkable, untold stories of reconciliation in Rwanda since the genocide in 1994, Kill the Devil is a love story between a survivor and a perpetrator of genocide in a lesson for our times and for all time.
Dr. Tony Macaulay is an author (best known for his Paperboy memoirs and musical theatre adaptations), peacebuilder and broadcaster from Belfast. He has spent the past 35 years working to build peace and reconciliation at home and abroad. Juvens Nsabimana is a screenwriter who was born in the slums of Kigali and has been writing stories since he was a child. Over a period of four years Tony and Juvens collaborated across cultures and continents to write Kill the Devil.
