"Unreconciled"

New from Geraldine Hughes and writers Jay Sefton and Mark Basquill comes an the unflinchingly honest and powerful Unreconciled, the true story of a 13-year-old boy who has his sights set on becoming an actor and the priest who exploits his love of theatre to abuse him. From the alcohol-drenched Irish suburbs of 1980s Philadelphia to a sterile law office in Manhattan, this play is about discovering your voice and the power of using it.

Each performance will be followed by a brief talkback and Q&A:
- Wednesday, September 25th: David Clohessy—Victims advocate and former director of SNAP (Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests) for 30 years.

- Thursday, September 26th: Marci Hamilton—Founder and CEO of CHILD USA and the leading expert on clergy sex abuse and child sex abuse statutes of limitation. Author of Justice Denied and God vs. the Gavel.

“Sefton put on an acting clinic, inhabiting 12 different characters. It all added up to one of the most amazing pieces of acting I’ve ever seen. It was also funny as hell and very moving.”
—Steve Pfarrer Daily Hampshire Gazette

“An extraordinary work of art on the impossible topic.”

—Terry McKiernan (Founder & President Bishop Accountability)

“I’ve been coming to Chester Theatre since the days of Vincent Dowling, but I don’t
