What kinds of events can I hold at New York Irish Center?

***Event set up and breakdown is the responsibility of those renting the space***

  • Wedding ceremonies / receptions

  • Private and corporate events & parties

  • Art displays or exhibits

  • Events for minors under 18 years of age, including children’s birthday parties and coming-of-age celebrations

Are there any types of events that cannot be held at the Irish Center?

  • Political fundraisers (we are your local polling station for this area)

What spaces are available for my event?

When can my event be held?

  • At times when spaces aren't being used for internal or public programs (make sure to book well in advance so that you have a better chance of securing the date you'd like)

  • Only between the hours of 9am - 11pm for bookings.

How much does it cost to rent space(s)?

  • All private events rentals are $100 per hour in our main hall.

  • Our non-profit and community partner rate is $75 per hour

  • All other rooms have separate rates.

How Do I Submit an Inquiry to Facility Rentals?

To get started, please submit any inquiry to info@newyorkirishcenter.org or give us a call on 718 482 0909 and speak with a member of the team. Please see below the information we will need to help get you booked.

Your Contact Information

  • First and last name of client(s)

  • Name of company/organization (if applicable)

  • Complete mailing address

  • Phone number

  • Email address

Event Information

  • Event type (e.g., birthday party /or reception, fundraiser, cocktail party, christening etc)

  • Preferred event date (or preferred month, if your dates are flexible) and times

  • Estimated number of guests (keep in mind max occupancy)

  • Estimated number of hours needed for your event (this MUST include set / clean up times which are the renters responsibility)

Make sure to send all the information requested above. Once we've received your request, someone from the team will get in touch with you to schedule your booking or a site visit. Site visits are available by appointment only during regular business hours, Monday–Friday, 10am – 6pm.
